Vejer de la Frontera is one of Spain's most photographed 'pueblos blancos'. Perched on the top of a hill its ancient battlements, built by the Moors, still standing to mark out the village boundaries. The cobbled streets and white washed buildings with their well tended pots of geraniums make the village an unforgettable experience. Earning its income from farming and fishing the locals are friendly and welcoming with many families having lived there for centuries. An air of bohemian chic hangs over the town which offers an excellent selection of little courtyard bars and restaurants. The best of Costa de la Luz properties are available in this vibrant village which has excellent access to the beaches at El Palmar and Zahara de los Atunes.
