A flight of stairs leads to large, private sun terrace on the second floor which has spectacular views of the countryside to the west and south and towards north Africa. This terrace is equipped with sun loungers, patio table and chairs and a BBQ. The property has a satellite television system offering a wide choice of UK television and radio chanels, CD and MP3 players and offers free local and Spanish calls and an internet connection. The property has ample parking to the front but also comes with a private underground parking space. The whole town of Vejer, with its wide and varied selection of bars, restaurants and shops, is easy to explore on foot from this property whilst the main road to the nearest beaches at Barbate and El Palmar is only 2 kilometes away. There are numerous golf courses nearby, including the fabulous Montemedio golf and equestrian centre(5 kilometres) which offers discounts to temporary residents of the area. Well behaved pets are accepted by prior arrangement.    The swimming pool is open between May and October.

The shops are 1 minutes walk from the property including baker, internet cafe, fruit & veg, general grocer, gym and video rental. The town shops are 2 minutes walk and the old town with its leathercraft and pottery boutiques is another 5 minutes walk.  The supermarket and bank are 5 minutes walk and the open market is 10 minutes.  There are some fantastic restaurants to enjoy including French, Italian, Lebanese, Moroccan and of course Spanish.  Some with outdoor seating including the Califa with its beautiful patio garden and all selling local fresh produce prepared to a high standard.  Some of the Spanish restaurants and fish restaurants in the pueblo have been established for 50 years and are still popular meeting places for the local families on Sunday afternoon.  Small courtyard bars and cafes abound and some bars offer live music at weekends if you fancy letting you hair down.  The old town is an intricate web of small alleys and arches and the beautiful Moorish architecture is around every corner.  The castle is still standing as is the town wall where you can walk along the battlements and take in the breathtaking views. If you fancy a day out why not go to Bolonia and look around the amazing Roman Town or eat at the fish restaurants on the beach.  Take a trek into the Alcornocales Natural Park and see the cork being harvested from the trees. Have a day at the Jerez School of Equestrian Arts and watch the horses training to dance in their world famous exhibitions. Enjoy a tour and sherry sampling at the Sherry Bodegas or stop off at Cadiz and view its fabulous sites or take the ferry to El Puerto de Santa Maria and walk along the river bank and enjoy some of the riverside cafes.A great day out for all ages is the whale safari from Tarifa which takes you out into the Straights of Gibraltar to see the enormous mammals at home in their natural environment.  Alternatively hop on the ferry and go to Tangiers for the day to see the sites and invest in some carpets.

To make a confirmed booking we require 20% of the total rental sum.  This can be paid by bank transfer or cheque.  The final payment for the property is due 1 month before entry.  Please note that cheques are only acceptable if there is a minimum 8 week clearing period prior to your entry date.  Maid service must be arranged prior to date of entry and paid with the final payment.  Arrivals between 1 - 6pm.
